Open Question

What happens to the TARP bank money that will be returned to the Feds?

I know many fiscal conservatives said we were printing money to save the banks
(which we did) Now that the banks are saved, what will happen to the returned
money? Will it be returned and dissapear like it didnt exist?

Im not sure how it works.

If your answer please keep this civil, no political bs plz. Im wondering what
happens to that money once its returned?

I always thought we could get rid of it once it was returned and write it off
the feds balance sheets.

realy nobody will be able to track all that money dollar for dollar when it gets
returned,so thats a great question.who will be watching the gov. and keeping
track of every single dollar that gets returned,or will this be another
"trust the gov." thing.

It get reabsorbed by the US Treasury and will be used to wither retire debt or
fund other programs liquidity or stimulus programs like TLAF, etc.

Good question, blurp! I have no idea and I'm sure that the
(bipartisan)government doesn't want us asking either.

And all this time I thought the term was derived from the Nostic sect of the
Jewish/Christian Church. I guess a thousand Hebrew scholars are wrong...
