Open Question

Hey Dan or anyone whos knows this,

What makes a stock its price? I know supply and demand and
value/fundamentals/pe, what the market thinks the value of the stock should be
dictates its price action.

But sometimes look at how some stocks move in AH and intraday. DNDN and RIMM
are the most recent price actions I can think of.

How can a stock just move down to that level? I dont see buying or selling.
Its like somehow a formula has changed and someones put in the new value of the
stock. It was not driven by supply and demand.

If you research the function and freedom allowed to "market makers", this could
be the key to your answer. When time allows I may pursue this further myself.

The price is a reflection of the relative aggressiveness of buyers vs. sellers.
No other way to really describe it.

It wil just GAP UP or down to the new stock price. It isnt selling or buying to
that level. Have you guys seen that type of price action? Know what I am
talking about?
