What does everyone / anyone think about Cell Therapeutics, Inc.? (Stock

I agree with previous comments. I am a medical oncologist and knows Pixantrone
very well. I owns 500K shares at 5 cents and it has increased by 8 times, SO
FAR!
Pixantrone did exceedingly well in, and has completed Phase 3 trials, better
than current therapies for treatment and patient comfort/safety. FDA fast track
approval expected so the drug should be on the market by the end of the year.
Novartis are their assist with this (see Novartis list of companies it is
working with to bring drugs to market). Pix is a gem, estimated to make $1B to
2014. With three more promising drugs in the pipeline following Pix, this is an
unnoticed goldmine. Or, it could be a buyout which is also profitable for
shareholders. I own 55,555 CTIC, have been in it since it was 5 cents.
Management has been cleaning up its act considerably and seems very focused now
on improving the stats. Recent fear of R/S averted, it was voted down by
shareholders so no R/S coming. The company does well presenting at conferences
(did one in March). In June they are presenting to the American Oncologist
Society (ASCO) which will get the word out to the people who will be prescribing
it. I decided to buy early and hold, as a medical professional I believe in
Pixantrone and wanted in low before this really hits the radar.
Yes, a lot of people are on the sidelines on this one waiting to jump in on the
right news. I am accumulating early though because I think its a great
possibility that Pixantrone will be approved by the FDA in the months to come.
Got to get em while their cheap.
A cancer breakthrough can do wonders for a small biotech stock. But you had best
have expertise in the subject. Cell Theroeutics (CTIC) has terrible numbers, but
that doesn’t mean a thing if the firm’s science turns out right. Remember
ImClose Systems--acquired by Eli Lilly (LLY) in Nov. of 2008? (Martha Stewart
does!) As things stand, analysts aren’t predicting any profits for CTIC. The
consensus is that a whopping loss of $32.70 per share for the most recent fiscal
year will moderate to negative $1.20 for the current year and a deficit of 96
cents next year. TheStreet.com Ratings evaluation model is based on a
dispassionate analysis of numbers and not the probability of a therapeutic
cancer breakthrough. It awards CTIC an overall grade of E-plus on a scale that
ranges from A-plus to E-minus. This stock is purely a speculation, but
considering the business it’s in, if it pays off it will likely be big.
Have been hearing a lot about this stock lately. Many articles on Seeking
Alpha.Keeping an eye on this one.
