you are right ssboy. i have thought about it alot and hopefully it will get
close to my purchase price then i could sell it, even at a little lose..

my losses are too high. i cant at this point, maybe if it gets close to my
price. amr is a good company and it will go up with summer travel.

Don't get hung up on your cost basis. If it comes back to the $20s (I think it
will), then great. But if you continually think about your cost basis, it will
guide your analysis. Instead, your thinking should be: will it be profitable?


If BAC successfully turns Merrill Lynch and Countrywide into cash cows, then the
answer will be obvious. Acquisitions sometimes work out great and sometimes
they don't. BAC is in the spotlight, so you'll have plenty of free information
of available to peruse as it comes out.

Ask yourself: what if BAC does reach $26? Would you sell to recoup your
investment, continue to hold, or buy more? What if it reached $25 instead and
news comes out that BAC's growth is slowing? Would you sell then, or wait and
hope for $26? Your focus should be on the growth slowing, not "it's almost
at $26".

I hope you develop a plan and buy stocks for better reasons than "travel
goes up in the summer time" as you did with AMR?.. Regarding BAC, I got
clobbered in it on the way down also. I've cut my losses and reinvested
elsewhere, best thing I've done I think.

drummerboy, i will be very happy if i break even. at this point i could care
less about the profit, i just want my money back.
