you know i used to think it was a good idea to talk stocks with strangers....but
after today's arguement with a guy who thinks a crash will make all stocks zero
out....i think i'll just stick with arguing with you guys....you just can't talk
sense with people....think the bears would of loved that guy.

Find myself trying to explain to family and friends some of what is
happening. What I found out was I know a lot more than they do.The glazed look in
their eyes makes me wonder how the 401 K's are doing.Funny how the advice given
at barbecues this summer apparently fell on deaf ears. They all are paying
attention now.
hahahahaha. hey mike, deep down, you knew talking to that guy was a waste of
time. mike
hey chris...recapturing our historic moment....
"that old man needs to keep his mouth shut"
we've bottomed
bad advice...."just walk away from your home"
lots of name calling...ie: "THEY KNOW NOTHING"
we've bottomed
Lots of lying..." no..we have enough money on our balance sheets to cover
the losses, we're fine"
we've bottomed
fed wants a blank check, congress must fill it with pork first
we've bottomed
world markets start mimicking us with same effect
we've bottomed
....to be continued....
i gotta agree with ed on this one you couldn't even explain to anyone that this
is a historic moment in everyones life, right here, right now. and they still
wouldn't get it. i'm just happy to have been a part, and active in this
historical event of a lifetime. something to help the grand kids in writing
their reports for school. at least our version of history will be more correct
than most. non participants.. chris
too much financial illiteracy in the general public. and most of them don't
really want to know more either.
None of my friends know jack sh** about the market. Very rarely do I talk to
people about stocks. I don't have endless time to explain what I know. It would
probably scare them if they knew anymore than they hear on regular news or a
local newspaper. ED
