yes, but in most states you are still considered a minor so there may be some
restrictions as to moving that money around. so in regards to your earlier post,
it would be in trust for you till your legal age, hence leaving the sole
discretion to your dad till then. but yes you can. i was a trust fund kid. the
rules of mine were, i couldnt get to the money till i was 21. they are all set
up differently. it is also not unusual to get it till 30 or beyond. chris
