seriously? if you believe in global warming, who cares about terrorists, all the
major port cities will be under water for them. ummm, thats probably worse than

as for global warming being a lie, of course it is! man, scientists always just
try to come up with theories and then not backtest them just to push some hippie
agenda! unlike other honest people who just come up with their own little ideas
pushed by self interest, lack of study, and general ignorance.

Yes, drilling for oil is delaying the inevitable, being energy independent has
nothing to do with our own oil reserves (potential or otherwise), and it isnt
hippy'ish to be for advancement of a society as opposed to stagnation.

however, if you put a chart of co2 release thats caused by mankind in the last
100 years, up against the global warming thats going on, the lines are parallel
and rising. the science is broad and valid on this. again scientific (not

It's not that the planet isn't warming up, every 25000 years it cycles between
hot and cold. And that is only what we are aware of.

Somehow past recordings and ice core samples by themselves tell us everything
despite the fact that human civilization is 6000 years old at most.

Blurp, irregardless of whether I agree with your point of view or not, you must
read Richard Marcinko's books, "Rogue Warrior" and the rest of the series, "Red
Cell" etc. Marcinko is a former Navy Seal who operated during the Vietnam years
until at least the mid nineties.

The author is apolitical and the series while classified as fiction except for
Rogue Warrior, which is autobiographical, is more reality than imaginary. After
reading the series, tell me which is the more eminent threat, terrorism or
global warming. As a side note, I have actually met "Gator" from "Rogue
Warrior". "Gator" discussed the books off the record and confirmed that the
series was more of a 'change the names to protect the not so innocent' than it
was actual fiction. "Red Cell" was a real unit, just named something else.

Global Warming will be dealt with when we get off the oil train to nowhere,
which appears to be much sooner than later. Terrorism, you have no idea how
vulnerable we are. Read the books and don't think about it too much because it
will keep you awake at night.

scientific opinion runs about 10 to 1 against your view. given the diaster that
will happen if it really is true is it worth not doing something about it? i
guarantee money will be made whatever energy policy we follow. why not follow
the one that nullifies the risk of global warming? i'd even postulate that alt
energy would produce more economic benefits because it will encourage

My true colors?

Well whatever you think about my mindset apparently 50% of this country is
liberal as well. You have to tolerate us lol.

Whatever you think of me doesnt matter. I am happy I am permitted to talk about
my leaders no matter how screwed up they are and any screwed up system as much
as I want without being in fear og getting thrown in jail. I know in other
countries like China this type of talking would get me trouble.

Someone said this a few days back that basically summed up who we are in this
country right now. The conservatives cover themself in the flag and look down
upon anyone that questions its leaders or the direction is country is going.
Then we have the independent thinkings who do the questioning wondering if we
are taking the right direction who look down upon those that follow the leaders
without question.
