Clean Energy Fuels awarded LNG supply contract for Los Angeles refuse trucks
28 minutes ago - Datamonitor

The Sanitation Bureau of the City of Los Angeles has awarded Clean Energy Fuels
a contract for up to 10 years to supply liquefied natural gas for the city's
growing fleet of 340 LNG refuse trucks.

The liquefied natural gas (LNG) fleet currently uses approximately 3.5 million
gallons of clean-burning LNG fuel each year. Fleet fuel volumes are expected to
increase as diesel trucks in the 700 truck fleet continue to be replaced with
LNG refuse vehicles.
