whats the deal with GS retelling us their call on 149 oil by year end..off what
basis do they see a spike back too almost 150? with the u.s. demand down, rest of
world slowing down ,and people more likly buying alternitive energy cars or at
least smaller cars, getting too 149 would take major war break out

I don't think it would take anything close to a major war. Considering the
safety margin between worldwide supply/demand, any number of smaller events
could trigger an increase. Hurricanes, possible supply disruption in foreign
hotspots, etc..
Besides, how many years is it going to take for us to a)have enough alternate
energy cars on the road to make a difference and b) increase our own domestic
supply enough to create a cushion?
Do you think Oil will stay low? If so, for how long? What happens to oil, when
China flips the on switch? We are so vulernable it makes me sick. We need to
get off hostile sources of oil overseas & start getting domestic & be
independant. I see GS call & to not believe it can get there is living in a
dream.
