Is Brazil EWZ OK to start a position in down 30%? What countries look like good
investmants at this time?

most everything Brazil (including MELI, which i still hold) is highly leverd to
energy and mining. So, with EWZ you've got the risk/reward of emerging markets
PLUS the risk/reward of commodity moves. Ouitlook unclear, short-term, but alot
brighter long-term, if you have the "capital wherewithall" to wait for
it. "Good things come to those who wait", but alot of good passes by
while U wait, too.
