Open Question

Does anyone have a good feeling on where anything is going short term? I don't
feel comfortable trading anything right now. I think if I get in financials now
I'll get killed and I think the same about commodities. How about buying tech
at the end of Aug?

wise advice from Ryan.

There is nothing wrong with taking breaks away from the market. It will always
be there when you get your 'market feel' back.

Never trade "not to lose".

its better to be out of the market wishing you were in, than in the market
wishing you were out.

if you arent comfortable, dont trade. even if it works you wont have conviction.
until further notice, this market is for traders who can quickly take losses,
the ability to admit your wrong within 20 min of buying, then flip the position
and go short (or long).

if this isnt you, then i dont think this market is for you till further notice.

if you are a trader of such sorts, youll get the vibe back eventually. just take
a week off.

IMHO....
financials are too risky here short term....
commodies still tanking...
retail out of control today....
tech still good on a per name basis....
big biotech..good unless someone dies on your drug, then Very bad....
where I am seeing ++$$...
is small cap stocks in these very areas....
got some holdings that are doing Very well...
right now...
