T. Boone's efforts to PROMOTE Wind Gen are admirable, but a lost cause at these
failing Crude and Nat Gas Prices.

Big P, you beat me to the punch! Good analysis and post. I've been tracking
Cramer's Wind-ex since he mentioned it. KDN seems to be in a sweet spot, one
foot in oil and the other in alt energy. Long term, if the politicians do not
mess it up, KDN should have tremendous upside.

I'm not Jim, but I think it has a lot to do with uncertainty about the renewal
of the Energy Tax Credits. Additionally, their oil rig related business tends
to make them vulnerable to oil prices, even though the current price of oil has
nothing to do with their order book. Additionally, it is a very difficult
market. Their backlog has not changed. KDN is a market leader in the field of
ball bearings for wind farms and oil rigs, they have good management and have
solid, steady growth. I have not looked at their valuation lately, but KDN is a
good company, but it is not "sexy." I think you just have to be
patient with this one.

I was just looking at my list of wind stocks. Only 6 of them are positive since
I started tracking them in May:

AMSC 20 percent
CPTC.OB 30 percent
OC 1 percent
OTTR 20 percent
TRN 2 percent
WGOV 68 percent

The rest of them are down from 2 to 60 percent.
