I just caught the tail end of that guest speaker they had on Fast Money tonight
and he was saying "and we could have no food." Can someone tell me, please,
what he was saying to lead up to that doomsday scenario? Joe spoke after him.
Thanks.

Actually got married in the early 70's and there were many items unavailable at
stores..last summer I could feel things were similiar..something you never
forget..and wish never to come back..i love this country but lately no one is
paying attention to anything..
I think we will have shortages in certain items..just as you see cars not being
made anymore...airlines putting airplanes on R&R..etc..you will see items not
available because the cost is too great or they will sell to the highest
bidder...
I don't want to be so negative but i do believe that if the government, congress
and the feds do not get in touch with us everyday peoples we are in for some
more pain

Might be a good weekend to stock up the Food Pantry.
NEVER HAPPEN.........if it ever did. the national guard would be pressed into
driving the trucks, trust me. teamster local 705 chicago rocks.chris
Hi Art,
That happened in Europe (I think in Italy?) because the truckers had a strike
there. If you look back, someone had laughed about it because they said that to
have a strike you have to have truckerSSSS strike (plural) and all we could get
in America might be a trucker (singular) strike.
I have been hearing about these possible scenarios in a lot of different places.
Interesting.
Thanks.

He was speaking about Oil. ON a big diesel crunch the trucks may not be able to
move food to the cities. Beacause of Lean Manufacturing, there is probably only
2.5 days of food in the stores. (my observation not the guests).
A little over the top I think
