Open Question

Are there any stocks out there that are good investments and also support the US
economy, or is that a stupid question?

well, there certainly are, but if often felt such a prideful thesis is a bad one
to have. if i say the ol saying, as GM goes, so goes america. by the very
nature, i should just be buying up GM like crazy. maybe that is even ok. but if
the trade doesnt work, my pride will be at war with itself. i hate to lose, and
i hate to KEEP losing (in anything), yet i 'have' to support america through my
investments.

it just lends itself to so many trading mistakes that i couldnt go with it. it
isnt a stupid question by the way, just one that is tough to work with as a
trading thesis.

I'm not clear what you mean by support the US economy - could you please
clarify?
Any business in the US employing people and paying taxes is, to some extent,
supporting the US economy.
