"Money does not represent such a value as men have placed upon it. All my money
has been invested into experiments with which I have made new discoveries
enabling mankind to have a little easier life." - Nikola Tesla
He was one of the late great altruist. A man of the people for the people. He
tried his best to do thing for the greater good in this world. And not just
about the money. But his greatest secrets are still locked away!
When Westinghouse bought out Tesla for some company stock and some cash for his
patents of the A/C electric current generator systems.
He some years later, tore up his very lucrative stock royalties, because the
company started faltering cause they spent alot of money on he implantation of
his new A/C systems, and he saw the greater good in their use in the world.
If he was alive today, I bet he would be in favor of abolishing the intellectual
property and patent laws in the interest of humanity.
Kind of what we did when we created the Atom Bomb.
A Great Forgotten Man.....in my opinion!

Better check the graveyards. I think Mr. Tesla has been dead since the early
1940's

I don't care about history I like to make money. I have been trying to find
Tesla. Now you tell me he changed his name to Westinghouse. I will now look
him up in the white pages.
been studying the philosphy of business?
B cous
Unfortunetly, most of the people that control the $$ are not altruistic. Until
they have way more money than they will ever need and they are coming to terms
with their mortality.
First you make money, then you save lives. really no way around it. Even Mother
Theresa need charity from others *make money) to save lives.
Nothing would should down growth quicker than killing IP. R
Did Westinghouse buy Tesla? That is why I can not find their ticker symbol.
Lets cut the "discovery age loose" or call it this >> "The Renaissance 2.0" and
really get this market hoppin......Do away with patents..in the interest of
humanity..the markets will follow trust me.......
-----------------
I would love to hear all of the pres. candidates touch on how they feel about
intellectual property laws and their hiderance/road block to free creation and
(((free will))) in general....Accelerated growth would rocket if not for them
laws...that only protect corporate greedy fats cats $$$$$. A kid should be able
to use something someone else made at one time or anther, hence compounding of
previous technology.... to make some thing bigger and better or more life
saving
in some way.... for not only us here in the USA......but for us as citizen of
humanity.
when we made our shot to the moon (supposedly...I'm still not sold we were
capable at that time) in the space race........all was suspended in the
interest
of the nation to get us to the moon or just in orbit before the
USSR..........well that should be the case today in Alt Energy and Bio
tech.........for the greater good of humanity and not to line the pockets of
control freaks who want to slow the singularity down if not just nuke it and
us....to stop from loosing that control.

ya wanna see markets and the world change on a dime and rise up.......and
capitalism in it's virgin form......and start having everyone in the world
working together for the best product design ideas........It would be Camelot
and almost reminiscent of the birth of the Internet....."The Renaissance
2.0"....would change the world. the true good companies would shine.
Abolish intellectual property laws in the interest of humanity.........And let
"The Renaissance 2.0" get underway.
the innovation yo would see would be mind blowing.

With over 200 patents to his name, Tesla was well on his way to transmitting
electric power without wires, when he ran into trouble with J.P. Morgan, a
financial interest, in 1901. His ambitious Wardenclyffe project to magnify and
transmit power to ships at sea and eventually to provide free electricity for
the whole world was scuttled by Morgan leaving Tesla penniless and
disillusioned.”
“When J.P. Morgan prohibited Tesla from broadcasting electric power overseas
with Wardenclyffe Tower, he said I can’t put a meter on it therefore I won’t
finance it. That literally changed the course of history and for the past almost
hundred years we’ve been suffering under that profit motive.”
JP Morgan....a crook then, a crook now?
And a quasi govt. agency i think?
"“one thing is certain, if we continue on the course of rapidly burning
fossil fuels and relying on nuclear fission, the future of our civilization is
in grave jeopardy. We’re at a critical juncture where the ravages of
industrial pollution and radioactive waste have exceeded the carrying capacity
of mother earth. Our finite reserves of oil and gas will be completely exhausted
by the year 2025 at the present rate of consumption. Large corporate and
governmental self interest ignore this pending crisis and resist change to the
status quo. The question must be asked..is this the kind of world we want to
pass down to future generations?”- Nikola Tesla
