Alaska first state to hit $4 a gallon gasoline: AAA
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Alaska hit a milestone on Wednesday that could be a sign
of things to come around the United States this summer -- it became the first
state where the average price for regular gasoline reached $4 per gallon

How do you edit? That should say QUIT DRIVING.
PS. The real answer to high prices is DUIT DRIVING.
This also shows how stupid the system is. Alaska has more oil than Texas. Why
don't they refine locally and sell to the Eskimos first? No, they are going to
put billions into the Denali because the price of gasoline is high in Chicago.
Did you catch that? PRICE. That is the sole modivator od oil. Up is good but
they did not even get that right. Price is better in their own back yard.

I live on a barrier island on the new jersey coast...gas is high here because
the transporter has to cross bridges to deliver the gas to the stations.....i
asked a station owner in my town how come gas is almost 0.25 more on the island
then inland 2 miles away?.....lol thats what he told me....because the truck
drivers have to cross a bridge...lol
about 3.80 here 3.60 inland
I was in Santa Barbara, CA last weekend. 4.50+ in Buelton (Sideways).
