Open Question

All I hear is that 2008 is the year for Natural Gas. Could somebody explain why
XTO and CHK are not exploding? Or am I putting high hopes on them? Thoughts?

Scratching my head...They have had a pretty good year...
XTO is up 24% YTD and CHK is up 43% YTD. I'll take that any day of the week.

well, isnt this a good thing that they arent exploding? shouldnt we want them to
be undervalued? is my first response

secondly, because they hedge out much of their commodity exposure, so they arent
as explosive as say, APA, or SWN, which are the go-go get em' stocks in the
group.

plus, as jewald said, theyre up over 30% in 5 months, thats pretty damn good.

chk - 40 to 55, up 37%
xto - 50 to 65, up 30% with a secondary offering
ung - 38 to 55, up 45%

better than a dull stick in the eye, want do you expect nat gas going to $20,
CHK to $200, XTO to $180. this will not happen they are not explosive like that
