Wow thanks a lot guys. Yeh i have been investing for a couple years now. I use
tdameritrade for my regular investmet account (mostly for the tools) and Zecco
for my trading account. And i just switched over the regular investment account
on TD to the ROTH. thanks for the great advice im sure it will come in handy.
And i love the compound interest so thats why i started at 18. I love readin
and stayin educated and there are a lot of good books out their, all of Jims
Wolf of wall st, rigged, automatic millionaire etc.
This site has helped me learn, and stay motivated over the past couple years and
i want to thank you guys for that. Although im not a cramer addict like many of
you guys, and i actually dont follow any of his picks, just his ideas, i still
want to shout out a little BOO YAA to ya!
Flat Foot (below) says: Cramer says - 5 to 10 stocks and 1 or 2 specs

I didn't know that. Here's my take: whatever your portfolio mix, a single
investment should not be more than 10% of your tot (for me, it's usually closer
to 7%)
I like diversification and not fond of losing money. That's me. Would ask
myself how long have I been a stockpickr and am I doing ok?
I probably would start with a good mutual fund like the one you mentioned. Then
add some more bucks over the next few years. And then when I had say $15K, I
would start moving some $ into individual stocks if I was a proven pickr and had
the time to manage them. Good luck.
Cramer says - 5 to 10 stocks and 1 or 2 specs. Pretty good advice.
wow, you're 20 - I wish I knew what I know now about trading when I was 20.
CGMFX should be a solid diverse way to go for the ROTH.
Case, you're going to be too rich.
Perhaps the nice steady CGMFX or DODFX makes sense. V is a good one for long
term put aways.
Sometimes picking just one stock that you know over time is going to go
parabolic is the best idea.
CGMFX is good, but I think GS, JPM, and USB are all good bets. Financials are
bad, but these stocks should be good from here. I also like RIO a lot as it is
painfully cheap.
Position: Long GS, RIO, and USB
