CNBC's headline says 'consumers stumble but market isn't worried...also says
market rally means wallstreet is able too look past 125 oil and a
recession...yet we pretty much have been correcting all week......somtimes these
headlines r just so stupid ,,remember back in january when ""this market could
be the next depression".

I think they just run out of things to say after awhile.The Depression phrase
should not be tossed out too lightly.A lot has changed since the 30's.

Well, they have to write something every day. I think this may be more than a
correction too. The market is trading without taking a lot of things into
consideration, such as high oil, the financials not being done being a mess, and
retail getting ready to blow up should the consumer take care of their fiduciary
responsibility to themself!

Perhaps Joe 6-pak IS in the house of pain due to fuel prices but the market may
be more in tune with global interaction.

Meaning, it helps to gear one's portfolio towards the emerging and growing
market of others than a staid, over-indulging, immediate gratifying
marketplace.

Must remain nimble for those with money will have to spend an ever increasing
amount of money knowing those who have always had very little are nipping at
their heels. Consider the concept as 'price rationing'. . . plan accordingly and
profit from it in the long term. Some will win, others will lose and be hurt.
