WHERE DO YOU SEE GOOGLE (GOOG) AT ON DECEMBER 31st, 2007?
I say 750.

$675-700, Could be higher based on the breadth of the hoped for year end rally.
Look for a sharp pullback in Jan. or Feb. Will retest the '07 lows. Will present
an excellent buying opportunity. Especially those using a deep in the money
option stategy.
I agree GOOG will be higher by year end. Where I differ is that we need
economic news to get it higher; we do not. Those of us who follow trends saw
that November would be very rough & generally a "Bear". Contrary, December
looks to be a very good month as of this time. Google has no debt & owns a
basic monopoly in their space ESPECIALLY in Q4. Retailers are using Ad-Words
MORE THAN EVER & that will be MOST EVIDENT in Q4 numbers. I believe next
earnings are due out Jan. 31 so I'll tell you this: I believe Google will be
$800+ by that time. Finally let me say this: There are VERY few companies with
growth like GOOG. If things get bad, I believe you will see multiple expansion
not contraction in GOOG due to supply / demand on such a growth stock. I own
GOOG - my cost basis is much lower so I will not buy more unless I see under
$600. Good Luck!
900! big announcement coming in 2 weeks
675
unless we see a deluge of improving economic data..or continued easing by the
Fed.
Considering goog was at 680 last friday, I don't think 750 is out of the
question. I hope it does get back there, but I'd settle for not being in the
red. Looking to buy more tomorrow if it gets under 620. 50 day MA is 615.
I would be a happy camper if it went to $750 but that seems like a big move.
What makes you think so?
For me...I don't know where it will be on December 31, 207, but I believe in
December 2008, we will look back and comment on how cheap GOOG was at its
current price.
I think an increase of 100 points in one month's time is a lot to hope for.
Disclosure: Long GOOG
In a place where people don't type in all capital letters.
Typing in all caps in like yelling, when you are standing face to face with
someone else. It isn't necessary.
