I started investing about fifteen years ago by creating portfolios on paper with pretend money and just tracking them as if they were real. I would have to say that my investment style is a mix between Ben Graham,Peter Lynch, and The Motley Fool, although as of late I have been more of a Motley Fool. I have had lots of success with the Foolish Eight screen, but get my discipline from Ben Graham. The Intelligent Investor is one of my favorite books.
