Least Favorite Stocks not set
Been investing since college, which unfortunately was during the tech bubble. I "grew up" thinking 20 point moves were normal. Got caught holding CSCO shares with a basis of $40. Ditto with EMC. Now I'm a Cramer convert (althought I did read TSCM during college) and I have a firmer grasp on how this game is played.
I've been working in the 401k retirement plan industry for over 7 years, mainly doing administration and tax prep. Now I'm getting licensed to sell product. My job doesn't require the equities license but I will continue to trade stocks in my (and my wife's) portfolio.
I admire the discipline that TSCM and stockpickr readers show in how they approach the market. All too often those in the industry make it seem like its harder than it really is. Even though I'm entering the brokerage industry I will always keep the fundamentals I learned here as I help the individual investor.
