Least Favorite Stocks not set
I try to only own 3-5 stocks at any given time for concentrated returns. I do not subscribe to any one investing strategy. I like to have a somewhat Bruce Lee/pragmatic approach to my investing. Many strategies have their own merit in the right venues and I like be flexible between them. Although, I do not believe in shorting stocks simply because the effort it takes to find a bad company could just as well be used to find a good company, and the risk/reward curve on a short is just not right in my opinion (unless its a terrible bear market) That said, my major influences are:
Peter Lynch
Cramer
George Soros
Ken Fisher
My dad - we talked about stocks and finance when I grew up instead of sports
I work for a software company that provides optimization solutions for large and complex operational issues.
I believe there are three types of investors in the world:
1. Rich people who want to stay rich (conservative)
2. Rich people who want to be richer (greedy)
3. People who want to be rich (everyone else)
I believe if someone does not identify themselves with one of these categories, they are just confused and have no place investing. I am #3 so I do not waste time holding on to a stock unless I am "certain" it will make money soon.
