I am licensed to sell life insurance in Michigan and New York. I am studying for my Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. I've been managing my own portfolios since 1993.

The financial companies that I've worked for include Chase Manhattan (formerly Chemical Bank), E&Y Real Estate Group, H&R Block, and Primerica Financial Services.

I have an MBA in Computer Systems from Baruch College City University of New York and a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.

I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer currently supervising the information systems department at a medical facility in Detroit. I am also the principal behind Thurston Consulting, with offices in Michigan and New York.
