I'm fairly new to investing in stocks, but I find it fascinating. I hope I find it financially rewarding.

My career in education (German, math, and computer skills) is winding down and I am approaching retirement. I hope to spend my retirement time working with my investments and doing creative things like sewing and quilting. I also have an abiding interest in animals (dogs and cats mostly) and I am becoming involved in rescue.
My grandchildren are also an important part of my life.
