Least Favorite Stocks not set

I'm 62 and want to retire next year. I live in Northern Virginia and want to move when I retire but don't know where too. Must be less crowded and less expensive. My portfolio will be gravitating more towards the conservative dividend payers and bonds. I would love input on what a good retirement location. Candidates so far are: Sunset Beach, NC; State College, PA, and Tucson AZ. Different reasons for each. My kids are in the DC area. Tucson could be a difficult move I suppose.
