I have been telling people to sell these stocks endlessly because the president wants their business to be nonprofit, which is difficult if you are a public company.

He's waging war against the health maintenance organizations, the cost containers. He's changing the rules on Medicare in a way that Humana (HUM) or UnitedHealth (UNH) never thought was possible.

It's health care that is most unexpected: anti-Obama health care, like Cigna (CI) and UnitedHealth (UNH) and Aetna (AET). These health care cost containers were supposed to be crushed by Obama because of their unfeeling, unthinking ways. The perspective Obama came in with would make you believe that the key issue for these companies is to ruin their margins. It also doesn't hurt that Tom Daschle got dinged, because he has a real socialist approach to medicine. With him out of the picture, the group has room to run.

UnitedHealth's stock has been hammered along with other managed-care shares. A rebound in earnings could help it rally into the low 50s from the current high 20s.

You can see another leg higher for UnitedHealth Group (UNH), I mentioned Medco Health Solutions (MHS) before, and now we see the Colgates (CL), Procters (PG) and Avons (AVP) moving on up. None of this was happening before the Daschle withdrawal! He's a catalyst, a catalyst because he didn't let the door hit him on the way out.
