Why I Love This Stock

Aug. 10 blog post:
"Take Procter. Here's a company that's not doing well, not well at all. It has expensive products around the globe, with Unilever (UN) and Colgate (CL) taking share and nipping everywhere. Yet the expensive stuff's still selling, just at a little less than last year."

You do not sell the defensives, the Pepsis (PEP) and the Unilevers (UN), when you get this kind of jobless number and housing number. You do not stand there and buy CSX (CSX), either.

Unilever (UN) stands out here, and Coke (KO) is almost there.

Or how about the big oil and gas users, Procter & Gamble (PG), Pepsi (PEP), General Mills (GIS)? You should be buying Unilever (UN) here.

Others for consideration: if you liked Coke, I thought Pepsi (PEP) was better, and Procter & Gamble (PG), which I think will be more like Colgate than Unilever (UN).
