The great Nasdaq rally will get unexpected fuel tomorrow from Texas Instruments (TXN) with a guide-up of massive proportions that will serve as one more wake-up call to the fact that wireless Internet is driving things like mad here.

As the product cycle revs up, it carries with it all the companies that make parts for the iPhone or BlackBerry or Pre, firms like Starent Networks (STAR), Skyworks Solutions (SWKS), Texas Insturments (TXN), RF Micro Devices (RFMD), Sandisk (SNDK) and the other chipmakers.

I like the company's latest report.

He said he's "blown away" by stocks such as Marvell Technology (MRVL) and Texas Instruments (TXN) and recommended buying RF Micro (RFMD). "When was the last time that RF Micro did well?" he said.

"Texas Instruments (TXN), also known as TI, has been a near-exclusive supplier of power management and baseband chips -- the brains for wireless handsets -- to Nokia. But it appears that the Infineon deal was only the first blow. Now there's speculation that Nokia is turning to the likes of Freescale and Broadcom to serve as alternative chip suppliers for higher-end handsets at the expense of TI. A Freescale spokesperson would not comment on Nokia. TI's Director of Investor Relations David Pahl also wouldn't comment on Nokia's decisions but said that the company is aware of handset makers opting to use multiple chip suppliers."
