We see TIE's calendar 09E ingot volumes off 2% to 3% and mill off 6%....We can't justify paying over 10 times C09E EPS for the stock, given big C09 EPS revision risk. TIE's relative premium is apt to keep a lid on the stock price, and suggests that a takeout premium is fully baked in....The next catalyst, a likely negative, is the revised Boeing 787 schedule, expected in December or January. If Boeing slips the 787 schedule by three to six months, the supply chain may have enough Ti inventory to de-stock through C2009...C09 demand for engine spares may drop given likely flattish flight hours and reported airline invent[ories]. Market cap: $1.5 billion.
