Why I Love This Stock

And now we have a whole new cohort going, which is aerospace. If Boeing (BA) really does ship, then you can buy a host of companies, including BE Aerospace (BEAV), Triumph (TGI), Allegheny (ATI), Honeywell (HON), Goodrich (GR) and Spirit (SPR) -- the last could be huge!

Buy - Price 66.25 on Feb. 5
by Zacks Research

The aerospace industry is entering the sweet spotof this cycle. TGI [an aircraft-components designer, manufacturer and distributor] reported net sales from continuing operations for 3Q of fiscal year ending March 31 at $275.1 million, versus $237.8 million for [the year-ago period]....we believe TGI is [currently] undervalued and upgrade to Buy. Market-cap: $915 million.

GE: Commercial plane engine revenues were up 66% and backlog is 151% of Q4 revenues.

TGI provides to both Airbus and Boeing, but may be hurt in the near term by the 787 delay. TGI is contracted to do more as a percentage of total work on the 787 than it does on anyother plane. (Good when the orders actually get filled but bad as sceptics are abound on the project.)
