This stock traded sideways in 2007 and has been on an accelerated downtrend ever since. The 200-day moving average (the average price over the last 200 days) is a good indicator of a stock’s resistance, and SPH has been making a run toward that line, a bullish sign that could point to a breakout. Fitzpatrick recommended keeping a deliberate stop around support, the price SPH has difficulty falling below, in case the downtrend reasserts itself in the future. |
