With the reflation trade back on Tim Seymour recommends looking at commodities firms. He says, “Vale [RIO] and Rio Tino [RTP] are both on his radar as plays on the slow demand pull back in iron ore and coal.”

The big mineral producers, (BHP) and Rio Tinto (RTP), are cutting back mineral production to the point that Freeport (FCX) should be bought, not sold, despite today's downgrade by JPMorgan. The Baltic Dry Index is back over 900, signaling the mineral companies' actions might cause an uplift in prices.
