What U.S. stocks are working? Investors don’t want any company that relies on exports to make money. But stronger banks that don’t need capital, like PNC Financial [PNC] and Wells Fargo [WFC] (after it does its equity deal), work as strong dollar plays, Cramer said.

The financials are a great play on a strong dollar. They lent out in weak dollars and are being paid back in strong dollars. But they all need capital except JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and maybe PNC (PNC), which has done a great job, although after Wells Fargo (WFC) does its equity deal, that, too, will be great.

Great company, good services

Ladenburg Thalman analyst Dick Bove tells us if he were building a portfolio right now he'd take a huge position in Citigroup. And "I would buy PNC, BB&T, and Bank of America," he says on Fast Money.

BB&T (BBT) and PNC (PNC) would also be ascendant. They will all be able to buy banks that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has taken over if the RMT is set up, because then the FDIC will also be able to get rid of whole loans.
