Gamco Investors (ticker: GBL) disclosed that it now holds 6,674,358 shares (5.52%). The firm paid a little more than $198.4 million, or about $29.73 per share, to acquire the stock. Last month, computer maker Dell (DELL) offered to buy Perot Systems for $3.9 billion in cash, or $30 a share. Dell has since launched a tender offer for Perot. It expires at midnight eastern standard time on Nov. 2. |
