Will outperform Starbucks as it has better product than SBUX, has limited growth with new stores and is currently in the same distribution channels as SBUX.

Waiting for it to go National. Speculative long term play. Got in at 28.

Speculative Coffee Retailer. Cramer's pick. One of those regional going national plays. Great fundamentals.

A bull market was found in the obituaries section of the paper by Jim. Alfted Peet died at the age of 87 and he was considered the grandfather of the specialty coffee business after starting Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc. (PEET) back in 1966. The first comparison in coffee is going to be made with Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) and PEET was one of the inspirations behind the creation of SBUX. PEET is smaller than SBUX but it is growing much faster and is a regional to national story. This is a small rival to SBUX but it is not a copycay. This is a good entry point at its current level. Also they have a large inventory of coffee beans to fall back on in the case of hurricanes causing the prices of beans to spike again like they did during Katrina.

A. It is priced, but it depends upon how
the actual numbers compare to
expectations. If the number is worse
than expectations, the so-called market
will not like it. If it is better than
expectations, the euphoria will be a
beautiful thing.
