NetApp announced the rollout of Data OnTap 8, which substantially improves caching and clustering functions. Additionally, the company preannounced several forthcoming features related to data migration and management. Current customers can upgrade to the new version at no cost, therefore near-term revenue will not be impacted by this announcement.
