NewMarket Corporation recently announced that its Board of Directors approved a share repurchase program that authorizes management to repurchase up to $100 million of NewMarket’s outstanding common stock until December 31, 2010, as market conditions warrant and covenants under NewMarket’s existing bank and bond agreements permit. |

Company recently bought 1 million shares back and six months ago the CEO bought 10 dollars in shares and currently own over two million of the 17 million shares. Stock is cheap and last quarter was great. Fourth quarter last year was bad because they paid off a lot of their debt (also driving the shares down 50%), so look for this fourth quarter to drive up the price. back to where it belongs north of 70. Funny, that not even Cramer has heard of this one. But great company anyway. |

New Market is about to turn around and you don’t want to miss it. This stock is down over 20% year to date, after their Q4 profit dropped 59%. Why buy the stock now? Because Bruce C Gottwald, purchased 8,100 shares on 2/8/2007. The technical trends indicate the stock is reversing. Over the past week in a relatively flat market, New Market was up 12.83% on very high volume. Friday the stock was trading at more than 3X normal volume. In addition the shares are undervalued at only a 13.5 multiple. |
