China Watch: Drilling for Value:
Worldwide demand for oil has slowed in recent months, but Tim Melvin says to look for an increase in emerging markets like China and offers four driller value plays.

That's where the opportunity comes in. Keep in mind that Schlumberger (SLB) and Halliburton (HAL) have numbers too low, and I like Nabors (NBR) too. These just work here, as much as it seems ridiculous given how terrible the market is.

But they are all great, including Ultra (UPL), Apache (APA), Anadarko (APC), Chesapeake (CHK), XTO (XTO) and all of the wildcatters I have been profiling on "Mad Money." Today people are buying every driller, with Halliburton (HAL) and Nabors (NBR) doing the best today because of their natural exposure. Here, frankly I would buy ANYTHING right along with them. It is the strongest group out there, and it's not done yet.

Nabors (NBR) and Halliburton (HAL) were reiterated by Cramer as his two favorite plays in the drilling sector.

Goldman said it is upgrading Nabors (NBR) to Buy from Neutral based on expected increase in drilling activity. Note attractive valuation, fleet quality, and diversification. Price target raised to $48 from $40.

Second, drilling is all about when and where and why. We wanted to drill for deepwater oil because that's what you got paid for -- still do. But this time we have a natural gas boom, and that's huge for drilling, especially because we are no longer going to be flooded by cheap liquefied natural gas. Cramer also had positive comments for Nabors (NBR) and Halliburton (HAL).

He also likes the most bullish part of the stock market like oil and gas, agriculture, minerals and infrastructure - isn’t controlled by the dollar, and the dollar’s not controlled by the Fed, Cramer said. Actually, the companies he likes are controlled by worldwide commodities prices. The dollar, meanwhile, is valued according to the U.S.'s budget and trade deficits, not short-term interest rates, and these trends have more to do with the high demand for energy. That’s why Cramer has been touting the success of Deere (DE), Potash (POT), APache (APA) and Nabors (NBR).

A solid stock for the natural gas play.
