Company is the leader in a technology area that has huge market potential. IMHO -- a killer app. They are perfecting a tiny laser and MEMS-powered projector that can project big-screen TV-size images (photos, film clips, webpages, etc.) with very high quality on any surface and in any lighting condition. The projector is called PicoP by MVIS is small enough and uses little enough power to be embedded in cell phones and IPODs. They expect to launch an accessory product in late 2008 that can be connected to a cell phone, IPOD, or laptop. Embedded applications will launch in 2000. They have a product devleopment agreement with Motorola for embedded applications to cell phones. Other applications include automotive heads up displays -- they have product development efforts with Visteon and another (innamed) top tier automotive supplier --- and high-fashion eyewear that will allow see-through displays of anything that can be accessed by a cell-phone or IPOD -- they expect to launh a product in late 2009. There are competitiors out there (e.g. TXN) but their technologies do not appear to be as good or as far advanced as MVIS. MVIS has very strong IP protectiion vis patents. They have a strong management team in place that largely came there from GE. They are not profitable now, but have enough cash to carry them through unless their product launches slip significantly. This blog has a some very good information -- is run by their eyewear product manager. http://microvision.blogspot.com/ The company website is www. microvision.com.

From my weekly group scan. The electronics group is doing well. Has Heads up displays for cars but is not making money. Losses are decreasing

He has not indicated a preference for

which leads me to believe he will keep
both.
