Why I Love This Stock

"But what does this allow us to buy," asked Cramer? "Pretty much anything," he concluded. Cramer said that commodities rallied on Bernanke's words, as did the recession stocks like McDonald's (MCD), Merck (MRK), Kimberly-Clark (KMB) and Procter & Gamble (PG), a stock which he owns for his charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS.

That means the ability to buy so many companies that are overseas-oriented: Intel (INTC), Microsoft (MSFT), Cisco (CSCO), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Caterpillar (CAT), 3M (MMM), United Tech (UTX), Boeing (BA), Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), McDonald's (MCD), Alcoa (AA), IBM (IBM), Procter (PG), Coke (KO), Merck (MRK) and Pfizer (PFE), just to give you the Dow stocks that are weighted perfectly for the overseas turn.

Not that I want us to be led by Merck (MRK) or by Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) -- it is just that the $3 spike in oil feels incredibly phony, just one of those oddities that seems entirely asset-class driven, not demand driven, a function of a falling dollar and money exiting toward a commodity that is not in that much demand.

Just bad luck!!! Stay away!!! Lose cash everytime! Alternative info: I hold a $20 straddle 4 leg up and 2 down to cover. I placed the trade prior to earnings day. It has worked ok so far.

A. any forward growth guidance you get from
a company has to be taken with a grain
of salt. dubai was not news 2 days ago,
yesterday it clipped the s n p for 20
points. these are turbulent times and
all forward statements are a guess. 5
year ones are a joke. we've had a really
nice upternd for the last 8 months, that
may be coming to and end or at the very
least its probably gonna get choppy.
you're gonna have to be the judge of the
reliability of any future estimates and
any one stock can have multiple guesses
at theirs.
