He also likes Agrium(AGU) and Mosaic(MOS), because we will have to put stuff in the ground to grow renewable energy. |

Cargill comes in and takes the company private or buys more shares at this level. Too cheap to ignore. |

On last night's show, Cramer said that PE doesn't matter, even if the PE is 2.5X 2009 earnings, as it is in the case of MOS. The company should easily earn over 3B dollars next year. BHP and Rio Tinto want to get into the business, which doesn't sound like something management of two of the best run mining companies in the world would do at the top. If PE doesn't matter to the investor anymore because we don't believe the numbers, the companies themselves have other ideas. These companies understand the fundamentals of their own business. At these bargain basement prices, there will be consolidation. All the doom and gloom on the media is also chipping away at investor confidence. No one needs to watch Mad Money if they pull out of the market and head for T-Bills. Sorry, Jim --- I love your show but we get doom and gloom from our 9-5 lives. Do we really need more at 6? |
