It also means that there will be a bid under stocks as diverse as Intel (INTC) and McDonald's (MCD) or Kimberly Clark (KMB), which yield around 3% (give or take some small amount) and are a terrific alternative to a piece of 7-year Treasury paper that yields about 2.8% and is much worse after tax.

He told Mad Money viewers to buy stocks that aren’t up year-over-year but should be. McDonald’s (MCD), Nucor (NUE) and UPS (UPS) are strong businesses that deserve better share prices than they have right now, Cramer said.
