Singapore and China are the key to the stock. Vegas product is losing convention market share to Mandalay Bay and their total sales effort has fallen due to loss of key employees who really brought the convention market back to the property. They never recovered the business - so they cut costs in Vegas. Being the big fish is Singapore will be a big asset to them. Just be leary about how Vegas product is losing business in the key market which drives rates and occupancy in the convention market. They are spread thin in Vegas on the talent front. Buy them because this stock can dominate 2 markets and will learn from their leverage lessons. Vegas is still a big concern and hopefully they look at grabbing key producers back to help their comeback. |

The quickest ones to react were the casinos, as it was easy to see that the Chinese would meddle with Macau. They should do more meddling, as Wynn (WYNN) has now exceeded my longstanding price target and Las Vegas Sands (LVS) is back from the dead with a vengeance. |

Options trader Scott Nations has spotted unusual options activity in Las Vegas Sands (LVS). The volume of Jan 20 calls traded suggests this stock could make a sharp move higher. Greg Troccoli also likes the upside potential in LVS. |

trader needs stomach to trade casino stocks in general. Trader needs meds to trade LVS. Too much debt and too volatile. |
