InterDigital designs and develops technology content and systems solutions for advanced wireless applications. IDCC licenses [second-generation] and 3G technology to wireless communications firms. We're raising our target price to 35, from 33, as InterDigital announced it is ceasing new development for its SlimChip product. We view this decision favorably, as expenses decline by $33 million annually while revenue stays the same. We estimate expenses' decline by 15 cents per quarter beginning in second-quarter 2009. As such, we're raising our '09 EPS estimate to $2.47, from $2.01. Our '10 estimate, which includes revenue from potential licensees Nokia and Sony Ericsson, moves to $4.20, from $3.51. Market cap: $1.2 billion.

I think that it has enough of a customer base and new inovative product to keep it going, despite it's crazy high P/E

Revenue of $58.7 million/EPS of 13 cents compared to our $59.1 million/11 cents estimate...We're positive on IDCC's ability to sign 3G licensing agreements with Samsung and Nokia....If a more attractive entry point [emerges], we'd consider [a rating] upgrade.Target: 36. Market cap: $1.1 billion.
