From a recent Mad Money show:

Healthspring (HS) was raised from Hold to Buy, Citigroup said. $29 price target. Stock is 18% off its highs, and the Leon Medical acquisition will add to earnings.

From Barron's 7-2-07:

"New York hedge fund Clinton Group wants HealthSpring (HS) to consider a recapitalization and a Dutch tender offer of $22-$23 per share for 30% of its stock. Clinton asserts that HealthSpring's stock, which recently closed at $18.20, is undervalued, especially considering that it is below the February 2006 initial public offering price of $19.50. Clinton Group holds 2,893,404 shares (5.05%)."

Healthspring was trading lower after cutting its 2007 earnings guidance to a range of $1.20 to $1.35. The firm cited higher-than-expected costs.
