"New York hedge fund Clinton Group wants HealthSpring (HS) to consider a recapitalization and a Dutch tender offer of $22-$23 per share for 30% of its stock. Clinton asserts that HealthSpring's stock, which recently closed at $18.20, is undervalued, especially considering that it is below the February 2006 initial public offering price of $19.50. Clinton Group holds 2,893,404 shares (5.05%)."
