Brocade's (BRCD) sneaking up here, and I have always thought that the Cisco (CSCO) competitor would make a nice fit with Hewlett-Packard (HPQ).

Stocks that "missed" are climbing back even in this suddenly tough tape. You can see them. Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) allegedly missed its estimates and is within a dollar of where it missed.

While fielding questions from the students of Ohio State, Cramer said that he's a huge fan of Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), a stock which he owns for his charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS, and he can't believe the stock has gotten this low. ("Mad Money Recap," 4-22-09)

"Regionally most of the strength is coming from Asia -- this is the Chinese stimulus kicking in and it is good for Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) and Qualcomm (QCOM) among others." ("Deciphering the Washout," April 20, 2009)
...
There's also technology. He remains a fan of Apple (AAPL) and Research In Motion (RIMM) as well as others like Qualcomm (QCOM) or Hewlett Packard (HPQ), two Action Alerts Plus names, and Amazon.com (AMZN). He said this group turns first and is the hottest sector out there. ("Mad Money Recap," April 20, 2009)

From Barron's 5-14-07

"HPQ preannounced slightly better-than-expected earnings and guidance for the quarter....Personal PC systems were the driver. Note: HPQ only squeezed 1 cent more EPS from $1.4 billion more in revenues -- less than 40% of its current net margin. Raising target to 35, but reiterate Sell rating on slowing incremental margins. HPQ prereleased earnings for April quarter...a week early because an internal e-mail with this information was accidentally sent outside the company."
