Why I Love This Stock

Do you mind that we are about to resolve another part of the financial crises with deals from Synovus (SNV) and Genworth (GNW), two goners just a few months ago?

But these companies look to me like Hartford (HIG) at $12 or Principal Financial (PFG) at $10 or Genworth (GNW) at $4. The capital markets were open and receptive to those three annuity/insurers, and I don't even think they are as good as the banks I listed because they don't benefit from the yield curve, which is bountiful and apparently will stay bountiful for now. And yes, these can grow their way out of their holes.

They've been beat down unfairly and have a very conservative investment portfolio. Also, their long term care offerings are great and mortgage insurance rates are rising. I believe the worst of the losses will be Q3 this year and after that they will return to solid profitability.

We have seen that recently in so many situations that it is pretty dazzling. It was one thing to see Genworth (GNW) back from the dead on its own.

One of most volatile, low-priced stocks on market.

Lear (LEA), AMD (AMD), Genworth (GNW), Tenet (THC), Huntington (HBAN) and Fifth Third (FITB). These are our leaders? This is what's rocking the market?

Pity poor Genworth Financial (GNW). All the phony banks are getting bailout money except Genworth. For more, click here.
