Why I Love This Stock

Boeing's (BA) the cheapest in years. Until you read that Airbus sees a big decline in orders and you look at the incredibly cheap Genesis Lease (GLS) and Aircastle (AYR), two big plane buyers in the mid-single digits.

GE: The plane leasing segment can't get enough planes and wishes it had doubled down after 9/11.

Eventually that ought to result in higher leasing contracts as Latin American, Middle Eastern, and American airliners wait for new planes to be produced.

Well position to benefit from the aircraft replacement cycle. Strong affialtion with GECAS, a dominant aircraft financier. High yield and excellent risk/reward potential.

Another company that is well disciplined in the art of generating cash. GLS has a lot to look forward to as the airline industry looks for new fuel efficient aircraft to replace old fleets. Did I mention the 10% dividend yield?

Genesis Lease (GLS)
Fir Tree liquidated its 8.7% stake, selling 2.7 million shares on March 1 at $23.65 a- piece. Subsequently, Fir Tree entered into a swap transaction, under which it has an economic interest in GLS shares but not voting or dispositive power over shares held by the swap counterparty.
