Jefferies said it is downgrading Advanced Medical Optics (EYE) to underperform from buy based on macroeconomic pressures that are likely to affect US and overseas LASIK volumes. Cuts target price to $9 from $28.

Advanced Medical Optics (EYE) was upgraded to Buy rating from Hold at Jefferies. However, price target dips to $28 from $29 while 2008 eps estimates cut to $1.20 from $1.35.

Morgan Stanley upgrades Advanced Medical Optics (EYE) from underweight to equalweight and moves price target to $25.

Have owned it for years. Originally picked this stock because it had the best technology for laser eye surgery.

Advanced Medical Optics upgraded to Hold rating from Under Perform at Jefferies. Price target and 2008 eps estimates hold at $29 and $1.35, respectively.
